Fool Moon, by Jim Butcher is the second book in The Dresden Files.
With werewolves around every corner, Harry needs to track down the killer (or killers) of numerous bloody slayings that are happening every full moon. As before, there seems to be more than one person who wants Harry dead. And when tempted with dark magic, Dresden it may be too much for him to deny.
The character development progresses further for Dresden and his friends, in this installment. The intensity and gore seem to be amped up too. And I love that the villains are just as complex as the good guys.
This one was definitely the basis for last Sunday’s Dresden Files episode. But I think I liked the episode slightly better than this story. I’m definitely looking forward to the next in both series…
Also, there is now a blog with backstories and behind-the-scenes info on Gold Eagle Books. Gold Eagle publishes my-much-raved-about Rogue Angel series, as well as other action adventure, paramilitary, and science fiction novels. It’s a very cool blog to learn more about some great series out there. Be sure to check it out!
