  1. It’s in northern Georgia. No wait, that’s Atlanta.
Atlantis lies beyond the Pillars of Hercules.

  2. I believe that Atlantis was an island country in the southern area of the Atlantic Ocean. If Atlantis is found, I believe that it will surely gain alot of worthy news attention and could cause underground agencies to act out as they do in the book. Thanks for the opportunity.

  3. I think it might be somewhere off the coast of Crete. If found, the storyline probably would not be plausible, but it’s fun to think about the implausible, isn’t it?

  4. Atlantis? – Under the Atlantic. There are probably mysteries to be found under the Meditteranean as well. I find the idea of ancient conspiracies that reach high levels of governments only too possible.

  5. Still sticking with somewhere off Crete, still thinking implausible if found, but that it’s fun to think about the implausible. Thanks.

  6. In my opinion it is deep under the Pacific Ocean, long forgotten. It would be interesting to see how archeologues and marina biologist would accidentally stumble upon proofs of its existence.

  7. In the Mediterranean. And, no to the second part, though it’s fun to think about possible conspiracies.

  8. Okay, I’m tempted to repeat Crete, but I’ll say somewhere off the coast of Asia Minor. Though I don’t think a discovery would gibe with some theories out there, it’s still fun to think about possibilities. Thanks.

  9. Tonight, I asked my 10 year old son about this. After careful and thoughtful consideration, he came up with Crete, so I guess I’ll go back to Crete and also say that it wouldn’t gibe with any theories, but conclude that that is really not a big deal. It’s what happens in our imagination that’s important. Thanks.

  10. Just to the Northeast of the kneecap of Central America; unfortunately, most of that civilization was vaporized by the asteroid impact which killed off all the dinosaurs (which was NOT necessarily the dominant civilization at the time). Might be too long ago (69 million years or so) but makes a good story, anyway…

The other distinct possibility was that it was spread across the floor of the Mediterranian basin, back before the Straits of Gibralter turned into a waterfall and finally (after the basin was filled) became a viable (13 kilometer wide) sea passage. Would explain a lot of things, including Flood mythos, etc…

  11. I think it is off where the bermuda triangle is or is by there and yes I think the story is very plausible you just never know

  12. Atlantis is in the Bahamas. I’ve been there! Wonderful time had by all. Also, Atlantis is the city formerly known as the capital of Georgia until global warming caused it to be sunken under the rising ocean tides!

  13. I’ll venture from my earlier answers and speculate that Atlantis was off Alexandria in Egypt. Again, theories about Atlantis probably wouldn’t gibe with any real Atlantis that may be found, but we can always use our imagination. Thanks.
