Rogue Angel: Gabriel’s Horn

Rogue Angel: Gabriel’s Horn, by “Alex Archer” is the 13th installment in the Rogue Angel series.

Annja Creed is a part-time archeologist, part-time tv host of Chasing History’s Monsters, and full-time adventurer.

After a dangerous attack on a European movie set, Annja finds herself shipped back to the States. But danger soon follows her back. And when a strange, homeless man appears who spouts warnings about the end of the world, Annja discovers that he may not be completely crazy. Meanwhile, Roux is on the trail of an antique painting that holds an incredible secret. And two deadly adversaries will stop at nothing to get their hands on it as well.

This installment is probably one of the best since the original book Destiny. With plenty of action, adventure, mystery, and a hunt for artifacts, Gabriel’s Horn, is a must read for any adventure fan. Mel Odom ghost-wrote this wonderful story, with intense action scenes and a deeper look into Annja and Garin’s relationship. And leaves room for some interesting future situations.

If you haven’t been reading Rogue Angel, don’t worry about the number of books. They don’t need to be read in order, save the first one Destiny (also written by Mel Odom), as each is a completely different adventure. Archaeological adventures with a twist of fantasy, Rogue Angel is still one of my all time favorite series. And Gabriel’s Horn is one of the best yet.
