Terra Nova Premieres Monday

Set your DVRs – The Terra Nova Series Premiere is this Monday, September 26 8/7c on FOX.

In 2149, Earth has become uninhabitable for humans with contaminated air and overpopulation. Scientists have discovered an alternate pre-historic Earth and decided that in order to save humanity, they will create communities in the past. The Shannon family is given the chance to join the Terra Nova settlement 85 million years in the past. Starring Jason O’Mara as Jim Shannon, a loving father and former cop and Elisabeth Shannon Shelley Conn as Jim’s wife and a talented doctor the two form a strong family with their children Josh (Landon Liboiron), Maddy (Naomi Scott), and Zoe (Alana Mansour) and are the heart of the show.

Well-cast with fantastic characters, the drama alone would make for a solid show. But adding heart-pounding suspense with dinosaurs and a mysterious rogue group of settlers, Terra Nova is one of the most exciting shows coming to television. The first episode is a 2-hour event, with enough beautiful imagery and special effects, that viewers will forget they’re watching a television show instead of a feature film.

This is a must-see show that will appeal to more than just science fiction fans. With solid characters, mystery, incredible adventure, and spectacular effects, I was certainly impressed with the pilot episode.
