Percival Taylor is a gullible young man, yearning for adventure. Though he’s completely unqualified, he still makes it aboard a ship – where he quickly realizes the life of a pirate may not be for him. Meanwhile, his betrothed is determined to change his mind. A shipwright is looking for a long lost naiad. And the old professor also searches for someone lost at sea.

There are a large cast of characters who stories intertwine in this light-hearted fairy tale adventure. As the narrative jumps around the different characters’ stories, it’s surprisingly easy to follow. The characters are so unique and charming, it’s impossible not to get pulled into the story. Full of humor, swashbuckling adventure, magic, and romance – Swept Up by the Sea is a fun and enchanting story for all ages.
