Video Clip: Jeremy Renner on “The Avengers” and Hawkeye’s Future

Larry King recently sat down with two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner for an episode of the Emmy Nominated series “Larry King Now”. The two chatted at the Beverly Hilton for the “Kill the Messenger” press junket where the actor spilled some secrets about the upcoming “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

In recent reports, the Avengers star has hinted at the possibility of an appearance in “Captain America 3” but during his interview with Larry King, Jeremy Renner confirmed that Hawkeye will NOT be disappearing anytime soon. “No man, I don’t die. They are going to keep me around for a while,” Renner explained.

He also said one of the biggest benefits of being apart of “The Avengers” is having 5 year olds recognize him and run up to him for autographs. “That is the coolest thing ever. The innocence of a child running up to you with like a little bow and arrow and wanting you to sign it or with a captain’s shield, it’s a lovely thing.”

The actor discussed his interest in bringing Gary Webb’s story to the big screen in “Kill The Messenger,” “The main reason why I wanted to do it was because Gary Webb was flawed and he’s our hero, if you will, of the picture. And I love heroes with flaws.” Jeremy wrapped up his interview by answering social media questions from some of his biggest fans including any secrets he could spill about the new “Bourne Betrayal” movie, what his hardest roles have been, his dream role, and dishing on his experience producing “Kill the Messenger.”
