Box Review: Collectible Geek – August 2015

Collectible Geek

CollectibleGEEK is a monthly box company, built by geeks for geeks! We choose great themes every month and deliver a Cache of goods to your door with just the items you want- no candy or stickers. Each Monthly Cache comes with 5 geeky items, including t-shirts, Funko products, nerdy toys, and other great collectibles! We also have other great products that are more specific to the FUNKO fan- we like to say we put the FUN in Funko!”
Caches start at $25 a month, plus shipping.

This box was sent to SciFiChick.com for review purposes.

The theme for August was “SuperWhoLock”
I love that they have such a specific theme, so you know if it’d interest you or not.

Collectible Geek

SuperWhoLock Tshirt (Retail $10?) – This is, of course, an exclusive shirt for CollectibleGEEK. Fans of these shows will appreciate this fun blend.

Collectible Geek

Sherlock Smiley Magnet (Upper right) – This is a large magnet, almost the size of a half sheet of paper.
CG Exclusive Micro Poster 3-Pack (Retail n/a) – Each mini poster focuses on each different show. Another exclusive!

Collectible Geek

Supernatural Mystery Mini (Retail $9.41 on Amazon) – I’m always excited to get new (to me) Funko products!
Titan Dr. Who Mini (Retail $12.75 on Amazon)

Summary:
Even though it’s hard to determine pricing on exclusives, the value is obviously greater than the cost. And for collectors who love these three shows – exclusives are better than retail products. I’ll definitely be signing up for future caches, when I see something else I like.

September’s theme is “Quest Accepted,” for all you gamers. Go check it out!
