The box comes with a nice card that gives details on each of the selections.
This month’s theme was BUTTON MASH – graphic novels inspired by video games.

Comic Bento

Tomb Raider: Season of the Witch (Retail $15.13) – I really enjoy the Laura Croft character, and have read and collected a previous run of graphic novels. So, I’m excited to read this one.

Comic Bento

Marvel Super Hero Contest of Champions (Retail $7.99) – A vague reason is given how superheroes correlate to video games. But anyway, I’m always happy to get a Marvel graphic novel – retro as well.

Comic Bento

Sonic Mega Man Worlds Collide (Retail $11.06) – I’m not 7, so I’m not exactly a fan of either of these 2 characters. It will be treasured by my young nephew who loves both of these cartoon characters and comics. Merry Christmas, little guy.

Comic Bento

Penny Arcade: Attack of the Bacon Robots (Retail $11.78) – This is definitely not one I care for. It will be finding a new home.

Summary: Well, I wasn’t crazy about the theme to begin with, so I was actually surprised that I liked 2 out of 4 of the picks this month. I’m not at all into gaming, so it could have definitely been worse. The value wasn’t quite there for me. But they can’t all be fantastic picks for everyone.
