This month’s theme was POWERLESS. Each box comes with a nice card describing each of the month’s picks.

Comic Bento

Ordinary (Retail $19.99) – Everyone in the world has superpowers – except Michael. This looks like a fun, unique take on superhero comics. I’m looking forward to this one.
Publisher: Titan (October 22, 2014)

Comic Bento

Stumptown Volume 2 (Retail $29.99) – This is a mystery that has good reviews. And despite being the 2nd volume, I read that it’s still a good standalone story.
Publisher: Oni Press (October 1, 2013)

Comic Bento

Ninjak: Weaponeer (Retail $9.99 on Amazon) – This looks like an action-packed book I’ll enjoy.
Publisher: Valiant Entertainment, LLC (October 13, 2015)

Comic Bento

Blackcross (Retail $19.99) – This is a newer selection. It doesn’t have great reviews, but it’s written by Warren Ellis, so I’ll give it a try.
Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment (March 29, 2016)

Summary: All of the picks this month are new to me. And no DC or Marvel titles this time. But all of these picks look interesting to me, so I’m still content with this curation.
