For anyone who doesn’t know, this is a remake of Charlton Heston’s Omega Man
Which are both based on I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, which is a Great book.
Mr. Smith only does good work. I know this will be a good, solid production that is easy to watch and enjoyable.
But will someone please actually read the book and do a movie of it. It’s been remade, what? three times and nobody wants to do the damned book as it was written.
Trust me, as good as this movie is, it won’t be as good as the book when I read it on a rainy afternoon it the late 60s. None of the “interpretive” “based on” versions have been.
