Fantasy Book Review: The Zodiac Legacy: The Dragon’s Return

The Zodiac Legacy: The Dragon’s Return by Stan Lee, Stuart Moore, and Andie Tong

Synopsis:
In this second illustrated novel of The Zodiac Legacy series, the dangerous dragon power only grows stronger within Jasmine, and Steven struggles to hold their ragtag team together. But as alliances become strained, the line between the “good guys” and the “bad guys” becomes blurrier and blurrier.

Review:
As their defenses have dropped a bit after defeating Maxwell. But Maxwell has a new plan to steal the Zodiac powers. And he sets a trap for Steven, as the team begins to falter.

The Zodiac Legacy: The Dragon’s Return is an exciting, fast-paced adventure. And the illustrations are just as fantastic as the first novel. This sequel doesn’t disappoint. The characters have changed and developed (not all for the better). And some of Maxwell’s former team who were abandoned are unsure who to side with. There are plenty of twists and turns in this story full of intrigue, drama, and super powers. There is another big showdown, but things definitely aren’t the same as before. I look forward to the next in this impressive series for young readers.
