Meme of Fours

I was tagged by Christine a couple days ago, but I’m just now getting around to posting it. And since I’m even more sick today with some bug (most likely just Laryngitis), this was the perfect little thing to post today so I don’t have to think too hard.

Four jobs I’ve had:
1. Children’s Department at my local Library
2. Accounts Payable – all through college
3. Graphics Design for a missions organization – I got burned out in less than two years.
4. Currently – Proposal Analyst for a Wellness Company – I can barely explain it… don’t ask.

Four places I’ve lived:
1. Muncie, IN
2. Marion, IN
3. Pine Valley, CA
4. Fishers, IN

Four favorite foods:
1. Pepperoni Pizza
2. Movie butter Popcorn
3. Sticky white rice
4. Whitefish

Four movies I could watch over and over:
1. X-Men 2
2. When Harry Met Sally
3. Back to the Future
4. You’ve Got Mail

Four TV shows I enjoy:
1. The 4400, The Dead Zone, Psych, Monk (all on USA)
2. Stargate: SG1, Stargate: Atlantis, The Lost Room, Eureka (all on SciFi)
3. Heroes, The Office (on NBC)
4. Smallville, Desperate Housewives, Lost (on CW and ABC)
I’m sorry, I couldn’t choose just four.

Four places I’ve traveled:
1. England
2. Scotland
3. Italy
4. Caribbean (twice)

Four places I’d like to visit:
1. Germany (hopefully, next year with my father)
2. Switzerland
3. Greece
4. Back to Italy

Four websites I go to daily:
1. All my favorite blogs to the right –>
2. SciFiWire – for my daily dose of SciFi News (They now say that Star Trek XI is on track for a 2008 release!)
3. Girl Genius Comic – Updated every M, W, F
4. Amazon – I buy too many books and movies.

  1. Great list of 4’s. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that stuck close to home in 4 places I have lived. Everyone else has lived in such exciting places. Oh well, one day.

  2. I’m with you on the food (especially movie popcorn), When Harry Met Sally (there’s never too many times for this movie), and Italy.

I’m halfway through Eragon, and can’t wait to talk about it with you.

  3. I always love to do these. you never know what you might learn about someone you’ve known forever. or even someone new.

sounds like you’ve traveled a lot! I love to travel. just don’t do much of it. I’m an armchair travler with my travel esssays and whatnot.

  4. Have to say that I am not looking forward to a movie that has other actors playing Kirk and Spock. I love Shatner as Kirk with all his overacting. I don’t see how that can be done in any way that doesn’t come off as a parity and if they ignore it completely it is not true to the character.

I reviewed another book today that you might like.

Going to see Eragon in the morning. Yeah!!!

  5. I cannot stand movie popcorn..or popcorn at all. It comes from working in a theatre during college for two years. yuck. and don get me started on burnt popcorn. I love sci fi too. stargate sg-1 and atlantis. I am hooked on battlestar galactica, heroes, smallville and now, jericho. If you have nto watched Jericho, you cna view all episodes online at it’s official website. I cannot wait to see clark fly on purpose to kick some tail.

  6. I am starting to get interested in this mysterious Eragon. I admit I am a little ignorant in the scifi area, but I am learning. Enjoying reading your site Angela! I totally agree with When Harry Met Sally and Pepperoni pizza-my FAV!

  7. Amy – Great! I hope you enjoy them as well! You’ll have to tell me what you think.

Kim – Thanks.. Well, check out the movie if you liked Lord of the Rings… Eragon (movie) is much shorter, and not as dark. The book is, of course, much better. Watching the movie was like seeing the story on fast-forward.

    Christine – I love seafood, it’s a deal! lol
Thanks for the well wishes. I’m feeling better, but I still don’t have my voice back. Strange.

  8. I think you confused that “Name four favorite shows” with “Name Four Favorite Shows on Each Network”! But good choices!

Wha’? They’re going to recast Kirk and Spock? That’s just wrong.
