Book Review: Kiss of Frost

Kiss of Frost by Jennifer Estep

Gwen Frost is a student at Mythos Academy, a Gypsy with the gift of psychometry, and the Greek goddess Nike’s Champion. But she’s not the warrior the rest of her classmates seem to be, until she discovers a unique ability that may help. And when she is almost run down by a car, then nearly shot with an arrow in the library, it looks like Gwen may be stalked by a Reaper who wants her dead.

Gwen is back for another term at Mythos, along with her unrequited love Logan Quinn. Gwen’s ability to know an object’s history by touching it takes a fun turn in this latest adventure. And the whole school visits a ski lodge for a winter carnival for non-stop parties, excitement and romance.

This Mythos Academy sequel is back with more suspense, mystery, and magic. Estep’s characters are intriguing, and the story is fast-paced and utterly engrossing. Both adult and young adult fantasy readers will enjoy this series. Kiss of Frost is yet another fantastic urban fantasy that I wholeheartedly recommend.
