Back to the Nightmare Tshirt (Retail $10?) – This Nightmare Before Christmas/Back to the Future mashup isn’t great. I’m generally not a big fan of mashups, and this one really doesn’t work.
Sherlock Exclusive Vinyl Figure (Retail $24.49 on Amazon) – I’ve never seen the show, and I’m sure I’d like it if I did – but I don’t collect the Titan vinyl figures… So this will be finding a new home.
Star Wars Mini Calendar (Retail $7.99) – This, I may actually keep – or give as a stocking stuffer to my niece or nephew.
Bill Murray Print (Retail n/a)- I’m at a loss. Not sure why this is a part of a “nerd” box. It’s definitely not for me.
Griswold Moose Mug Acrylic Shotglass (Retail $7.49) – This will make a great White Elephant gift! Too funny. But nothing I’d ever keep around.
Exclusive Firefly Ornament (Retail $20+) – I already have a much nicer, pewter Serenity ornament. This is “chrome” – fragile and lighter-weight, without near the amount of detail that my other one has. So this was a bit of a disappointment, as I do love Firefly.
Summary: This month was a huge disappointment. Everything was so random. Not one thing made this box worthwhile. They really need to stick with a theme each box so people know to skip a month, rather than just cancelling. I’m just cancelling this Classic Block. It’s funny how it just takes one bad box to ruin the subscription. I hope the SciFi Block keeps my interest.
Next month’s spoilers:
I love Star Wars and Star Trek, but too little, too late. I’m sure Smuggler’s Bounty will give me my Star Wars fix every other month.
