Comic Con Recap: Thursday Author Panels and Signings

Over the course of the weekend, I attended quite a few author panels and was able to meet several of them that I’ve been in contact with over the past couple years. As I’ve said, meeting and hanging out with the authors and publishing contacts was the highlight of the trip.

The first author panel I attended was Star Trek: Without a Blueprint, where the various authors discussed their current Star Trek novels and upcoming projects. I do love reading Star Trek novels, but I attended solely to see Wil Wheaton, who is working on a manga line of the original series.

Comic Con Recap: The Exhibit Hall

The craziest, most crowded area was, of course, the exhibit hall. When I realized I couldn’t see from one end to the other, I knew I’d never be able to conquer it all.

First, here are some shots of the various publishing company booths. It was great meeting up with several contacts. And I have to give a special thanks to the great people at Gold Eagle with whom I had a great time getting to know!
