The Dresden Files series premier was last night. And I, for one, was not disappointed. The actors are well-cast, particularly Paul Blackthorne as Harry Dresden and Terrence Mann as Bob the skull. They play really well off of each other. For those that missed it last night, the SciFi Channel will be airing the pilot again today and tomorrow.
Good News! Borders has released the name of the 7th Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and is allowing people to reserve their copy now.
I’ve started several books but haven’t finished anything lately. The Spy Who Loved Me, by Ian Fleming is a bit unlike his other Bond books, as this one is written from a woman’s perspective. I’m about halfway through this 172-page book, and so far it has just been Vivienne’s back-story – who she is and how she views men. So far, it has been masterfully written and engaging.
