This sounds like it was based on an old PC video game called THE JOURNEYMAN PROJECT. It’ll be fun to see who it’s attributed to.
And we’re getting a new BIONIC WOMAN. Don’t know if I ready for that.
this reminds me of Qauntum Leap and The Time Travlers Wife. I guess I need to accept there are no new ideas left. * sigh *
