Platform Decay: Book Review

Platform Decay by Martha Wells

Synopsis:
Having someone else support your bad decision feels kind of good.
After volunteering to run a rescue mission, Murderbot realizes that it will have to spend significant time with a bunch of humans it doesn’t know.
Including human children. Ugh.
This may well call for… eye contact!

Review:
This is the 8th installment in the Murderbot Diaries, a witty and inspired space opera. And Murderbot (as the rogue SecUnit calls itself) is in for an all-new, action-packed adventure. Full of clever humor, this android juggles free will and human feelings. At least Murderbot has its favorite show to watch to help de-stress. This latest rescue mission is fast-paced and with plenty of fun and heartwarming, engaging characters. This is one of my favorite series. I highly recommend starting at the beginning, especially if you’ve caught the AppleTV show (based on the first novella). They’re quick, easy reads that are nearly impossible to put down.
