The season 3 premier of Primeval on BBC America starts out with a bang. Nick Cutter and the team investigate a case at the British Museum, where an anomaly has opened in the midst of an ancient Egyptian artifact.
With the death of Stephen Hart last season, the cast is joined by several new characters. Archaeologist Sarah Page is an expert in ancient Egypt (not sure what she can bring to the team in regards to dinosaurs or anomalies, and I still don’t understand after episode two). Captain Becker is the latest military addition, hired to keep the team safe. And yes, the cast is getting better looking each season.
Primeval returns with new creatures, more suspense, humor, and a few surprises.
Episode 2, which airs May 23rd, involves a creepy, haunted house, a chameleon-gremlin-like-creature, and a cop bent on revenge.
I’m not only looking forward to more adventures with the team, but seeing how new relationships unfold with the new teammates.
Movieweb reporting that there will be an American Movie made based on this show.
Season 3 has been….interesting…..
I enjoyed the opener. Mythology is cool, so I look forward to how the series tackles this.
And a nemesis for James Lester!?
Love & blessings
