Review:
Star Trek: Coda: Moments Asunder is the first in a trilogy that will align the Star Trek novels to the recent Picard series. As a fan of the novels, I was excited and nervous to see my beloved timeline get a course correction to the current tv series. This first installment, is action-packed and full of mystery and suspense. There are some heartbreaking tragedies, but still plenty of fun and excitement. As their investigation draws them closer to answers, they still don’t have a clear plan to stop the invading force. And of course, we’re left with a cliffhanger ending that comes all too soon. Thankfully, these are planned to release each month, so we don’t have a long wait. I love these characters across the different series and where the authors have taken them past their respective series. But I’m also looking forward to the rest of this epic saga that is sure to be memorable.
