I started watching the first few episodes of Simon and Simon yesterday. Now I remember why I loved this show as a kid… and why I had such a crush on A.J. Simon (Jameson Parker). In fact, I think I have a bigger crush now. I’ve always loved detective shows, and wish they still made them like they did in the 80s: Simon and Simon, Remington Steele, Murder She Wrote, Moonlighting, Hart to Hart, Magnum PI. Though with shows like Monk and Psych on USA, I can still get my fix of new and fresh quality private detective shows. Meanwhile, between seasons, I’m re-watching the classics.
I finished another commissioned drawing this weekend, and started working on one for fun of Mal (Nathan Fillion) and Inara (Morena Baccarin) from Firefly. As you can see, I haven’t finished. Mal and Inara look like they’ve gotten in a fist fight and both have black eyes.
I’ll, hopefully, be posting the finished version tomorrow.
And I started reading Dean and Me this weekend. I’m already loving this book. Emotional and heart-felt, Jerry Lewis wrote a loving memoir of their time together.
I loved Simon and Simon too as a kiddo and Remington Steele was the best!
Hey, don’t know if you watch Lost but I read somewhere that Nathan Fillion was going to guest star? Was that here that I read it?? If so forgive the repeat!
yeah.. just scroll down a couple days.. lol
I just checked out your gallery. Wow, you’re really good!
Ah, Remington Steele. I used to love It Takes a Thief with Robert Wagner too.
shazbot. It WAS you! LOL!
Rachel – Thanks! And thanks for visiting!
Carrie – I love Robert Wagner, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen It Takes a Thief. I’ll have to see if A&E or TVLand ever play reruns of it.
