My LEAST Favorite Aliens

Last week I gave you my favorite aliens from favorite shows. Now, here is a list of top 13 aliens that I despise.
I saw this pic to the right and just had to show it!

1 – Jar Jar Binks (from Star Wars) – I don’t think any explanation is needed. Everyone agrees. Me-so want to hurt him.

2 – Jabba the Hut (from Star Wars) – Fat and disgusting, I can quite easily say that he’s been my least favorite since I was a child.

3 – Mac (from Mac and Me) – He was just a bad rip-off of ET. A really creepy-looking ET.

4 – The Bug (from Men In Black) – Icky cockroaches. And the guy steals a human’s skin.

5 – Tess Harding (from Roswell) – This evil chick got herself pregnant by Max, trying to break his bond with Liz. And worst of all, she ends up being Alex’s killer.

6 – Gowron (from Star Trek: TNG and DS9) – The bug eyes really creep me out.

7 – The Goa’uld (from Stargate: SG-1) – This parasitic race are basically worms that when inserted into hosts, take over their personality. Extremely powerful and extremely evil, they loved being worshiped as gods.

8 – The Kilrathi (from Wing Commander) – Cat-like bad guys? Not very intimidating. Costumes so bad they make you cringe.

9 – The Viidans (from Star Trek: Voyager) – Nasty aliens who harvest organs from other aliens and then use them on themselves, because they have a disease called ‘The Phage.’ You know those urban legends about people getting their organs harvested while still alive… Star Trek had to make nightmarish aliens out of it. Ick.

10 – The Xindi (from Star Trek: Enterprise) – The almost never-ending storyline that killed the franchise… for a while at least. Comprised of five separate sub-species, that all live on one planet, and supposedly evolved from a common ancestor. Yeah right.

11 – “God”/Sha Ka Ree (from Star Trek: The Final Frontier) – As Kirk says, “What does God need with a starship?” If you haven’t noticed, I despise aliens who call themselves “gods.”
… Okay, the Goa’uld, Baal, is the exception to this. But that’s just because he has a fun personality. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s extremely attractive.

12 – The aliens from Signs – Aliens that are allergic to water and try to invade a world that is 70% water? Oh well, the movie was suspenseful, and had a happy ending. Typical Shyamalan.

13 – Tom Cruise

  1. I LOVED signs. I love anything by M. Night

And hey… I always suspected that about #13. Wonder if we could find proof? We oughta see if World Weekly News could find any. Them being such a reliable source, as evidenced by the encounter with CLinton and the Alien. 😉

As the aliens as gods thing, yeah, totally understand that one.

  2. ROFL!!! I burst out laughing when I read the last one on your list. That is too funny!

I have to say I love Baal (he’s who I used as my picture for my genie in All Bottled Up), and love what they did with him.

  3. You are just too funny. I was grooving along through your list and got to Tom Cruise, and cracked up. That’s a perfect picture of him for such a surprise. Caught me off guard.

The aliens on Signs were pretty creepy, plus, you never really got a good look at them.

Mac and Me came out when my girls were small, and I’ve seen that movie so many times it is sickening. He is a rather sad excuse for an alien though.

Jabba is a classic unlikable alien. I loved the Mad Magazine version, “Pizza the Hut.”

Your T13s are always a treat.

  4. I just watched the episode of Roswell where they found out that Tess killed Alex and Nsaido made a deal exchanging the other royal three for Tess and Max’s child. How awful!
It made me wonder if future Max (when he came back to break up Max and Liz for good) meant that they would just need Tess to kill the skins in season 2 or if there was more to it and now she’s gone. I guess if she left before they met the skins, the royal other 3 probably wouldn’t have made it. maybe that was her sole purpose. I have thought about this way too much…

  5. Lol – Tom Cruise 😉

Vincent D’Onfrio (sp ?) did a great job playing the bug alien. He’s completely believable as a creepy cockroach.

  6. Awww, I LIKED Gowron, and the Bug Guy from MiB. And I dug the Cat-like dudes in the early wing commander games when they still had animated cartoon-like cutscenes.

But otherwise, we are in total agreement. Move over John Tesh, Tom Cruise is the creepiest alien among us…

  7. LOL – The Cruiser is the real alien!

Funny how when Return of the Jedi first came out, I loved Jabba the Hutt! No, not in that way, in that I thought he was a cooool alien!
