  1. Have you read the first two Paolini books? I was wondering what you thought about them if you had. I personally thought “Eragon” was awful and I don’t know if I could stomach reading another one of his books… Then again, he was pretty young when he wrote the first one, so there is hope that he has improved, dramatically hopefully…

  2. Yes, and I absolutely loved them. I think I liked Eragon a little more than the 2nd, but it’s been a year.. So I don’t quite remember all the details.
I loved the coming-of-age story and the characters. Even his writing style, since it was easy to read and geared towards youth.

  3. I’m a pretty big fan of YA fantasy, but the book just didn’t entertain me. Obviously not everyone feels the same way and he has a pretty big fanbase 🙂

Sounds like you’ll be reviewing the third one when it comes so I’ll be interested to see what you have to say about it!

  4. Yes, I am so excited that this book is FINALLY coming out!!! I’ve been waiting for so long, I think it’s been about 2 years since I read Eldest. I really hope it’s good it will be such a disapointment if it isn’t. The first two books were great and interesting. They were a real easy read too. I just can’t wait!

  5. I think the stories are full of texture and have a great set up to make a wonderful series and the fact that paolini was only 15 when he started Eragon is most impressive

  6. I absolutely loved his two books. I like Eragon better than Eldest, but they were both well written. I can’t wait for the 3rd book to come out. I hope it lives up to expectations. Paolini has talent. I hope he can do as well for the next two books.
