Rogue Angel: The Soul Stealer, by “Alex Archer” is the 12th installment in the Rogue Angel series.
Annja Creed is a part-time archeologist, part-time tv host of Chasing History’s Monsters, and full-time adventurer.
Annja meets her friend and fellow archaeologist Bob in Siberia to assist him on investigating a remote area. But on their journey, they get sidetracked by a local legend. In the small village of Jakutsk, they learn of a creature named Khosadam, which the villagers claim is a ghost of a goddess that eats human souls. When one of the villagers is missing the next morning, Annja, Bob, and his guard-for-hire Gregor go investigate. But instead, they uncover a truth even more terrifying.
This latest installment is pure action and excitement from beginning to end. While hardcore Rogue Angel fans may be disappointed that there are no actual archaeological digs or artifacts in this story, there is a huge mystery and plenty of creepy bad guys. And Annja kicks butt as always.
Leaning on the edge of the horror genre, The Soul Stealer will keep readers enthralled and on the edge of their seats until the very end.
The book covers for this series are amazing! Always visually stunning.
Yeah, Tim Bradstreet is incredibly talented.
I was wondering who the artist’s name was. Now I can go Google him and see what other stuff he’s done.
I just finished that book a few days ago. Not bad. Better than a few of the more recent RA books, but not as good as some of the earlier books.
Alex Archer is a pen name for two guys writing the series together.
Kev – Actually, there are more on board than just 2 writers now. It got to be too much for just Mel Odom and Victor Milan. Jon Merz and now Michele Hauf are writing for Rogue Angel too.
