Dante’s Girl

Dante’s Girl, by Natasha Rhodes, is a surprisingly exciting dark fantasy novel.

When Kayla’s boyfriend is brutally murdered, she soon finds herself chased by the same killers. And she begins to realize that he kept a lot of secrets. When Kayla decides to track down his killers, she soon discovers a world of monsters that she never knew existed. Kayla decides to team up with the Hunters, but there’s a traitor in the midst.

This was a fast-paced, action-packed, fun beginning to an exciting series. With more violence than most vampire/werewolf novels laced with romance, I thoroughly enjoyed the complex storyline and intriguing characters. I recommend this one to all fans of darker fantasy, action, and horror genres.

Solaris Books has constantly impressed me with the quality and variety of science fiction and fantasy titles.

Dante’s Girl is avaiable through Solaris Books and bookstores everywhere in the US, Canada, and UK.

  1. I have never heard of this book before. I actually don’t know if I have ever read a fantasy book published by Solaris books, but I am noticing a lot of blogs lately reading them. I might have to check them out.

  2. Interesting. I’ve tended to stay away from books that feature both vampires and werewolves at this point because the whole thing seems a bit overdone, but it would be nice to read a fresh take on it.

  3. I’ve got this one on my list and I almost bought it the other day. It sounded really good. I didn’t know it was a series though… gosh it sure seems as if most dark fantasy is going that way. Not that I mind. The more the merrier. 🙂

  4. This sounds really good!! I dig vampires/werewolves/zombies and the like. I haven’t heard of Solaris books before. Guess I’m going to have to check this one out too!
