Meme of Fours

I was tagged by Christine a couple days ago, but I’m just now getting around to posting it. And since I’m even more sick today with some bug (most likely just Laryngitis), this was the perfect little thing to post today so I don’t have to think too hard.

Four jobs I’ve had:
1. Children’s Department at my local Library
2. Accounts Payable – all through college
3. Graphics Design for a missions organization – I got burned out in less than two years.
4. Currently – Proposal Analyst for a Wellness Company – I can barely explain it… don’t ask.

Four places I’ve lived:
1. Muncie, IN
2. Marion, IN
3. Pine Valley, CA
4. Fishers, IN

Christmas Candle and Meme

For my third entry in the 2006 G.I.F.T. Challenge, I read The Christmas Candle, by Max Lucado. This was a touching, short story about faith and miracles. Every quarter of a century an angel visits a candle maker’s family, touching a certain candle and miracles happen.

While very short, this was a great little Christmas story that provides more meaning to the season than the usual stories. Max Lucado remains one of my favorite authors for his style of writing and the depth and insight he gives to everyday life.
