According to director Joe Carnahan’s site, it looks like Chris Pine will be the new (young) Jim Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek movie.

Not a bad choice. I’m still most excited for Simon Pegg as Scotty though!
I think they’ve picked some excellent actors for these roles. I’m really looking forward to this moving coming out!
